Gabby Mitchell is a 19-year–old sophomore at Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA. She attended high school at The Latin School of Chicago during which time she received several academic honors including a National Merit Semi-Finalist award and a Daniel Murphy Scholarship. This is her first year with Young Chicago Authors, and hopes to further develop her writing with the help of their organization. In addition to writing, Gabby spends her time dancing and performing, running track, and hanging out with friends.
