“Enter My Ears” by Jewel Harris

Pushed volume engages my eardrums
I meditate, speech taking a trip through my world.
Spoken word, being benevolent itself
Enters my ears

This half moon shaped tool is the way to my heart
It has a dynamic use to communicate in ways
The deaf wish they could.

Sensitive to sounds, negative sounds
My ears about to burst
Yet a silent killer
Enters my ears
