Queeriosity is a monthly poetry salon that creates a safe space for LBGTQ and questioning youth, aged 12-25, to explore the world through a queer lens.

This monthly program is hosted by YCA Teaching Artists H. Melt, Britteney Kapri & Jamila Woods. Sessions are held on second Thursdays 6pm-8pm at Young Chicago Authors unless otherwise noted.

During February and March, Queeriosity is an LTAB Special Event. They will be held on:

Thursday, March 30th: 6-8pm @ Alphawood Gallery, 2401 N. Halsted St

Queeriosity is a space for writing, discussion, performance, & community building. No prior experience in poetry or performance is required. This year's program features special guest performers, field trips to local museums, and an end of summer zine release party. Registration is free and open to queer & questioning youth aged 12-25. Allies are encouraged to attend our public performance showcases on March 1st and August 10th.
