Top Five Featuring Matt Muse

Hello YCA Fam,

Welcome to the Top Five. We know it’s Monday and you may be looking for inspiration, and we are here to help! Every Monday, we will be inviting some of our favorite artists to share five links that inspire them. Tune in to find some new music, poems, and more.

This week’s Top Five is from Matt Muse

1) Why “Atlanta” Creator Donald Glover Is One Of The Most Creative People In Business In 2017

A little motivation for all the young creatives out there, love this article. The only Donald that we acknowledge is Glover

2) I’m sorry by swell featuring shiloh

An instrumental that I’m currently writing to by Swell. Fun fact: The sample is from a vine loop, which is so dope to me.
3) 2008 White Sox: Nick Swisher hits a walk-off three-run homer in the 14th inning vs Tigers (8.05.08)
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v= sjLY8uGvNL8
Those who know me know I’m like the only black, 24yr old DIE HARD baseball & white sox fan in the world. This is one of the moments that made me fall in love with them and the sport of baseball.
4) Cinema Sins & Honest Trailer
Cinema Sins: https://m.youtube.com/user/CinemaSins
I’m a big movie fan. Cinema Sins & Honest Trailers are YouTube channels I follow faithfully. Find your favorite movie on either page & get ready to laugh.

5) Abstract: The Art of Design, the Tinker Hatfield episode
https://www.netflix.com/title/ 80057883
I’ll end it with some more motivation. This Netflix series (Abstract: The Art of Design) is a MUST WATCH for all creatives. It tells the stories of some of the dopest creatives you’ve probably never heard of who create things you love. Tinker Hatfield was the lead designer of The Jordan Retros from retro 1 to retro 15. Easily my favorite episode. Enjoy!
