Speeches are designed for a larger corporate constituency that outlines YCA’s approach to radical inclusion, to artistic-based organizing principles, and the mentorship of artist-educators.
LOUDER THAN A BOMB LIVE - A full day immersion into the YCA experience, organized around the principles and practices of Louder Than a Bomb, the world’s largest youth poetry festival. BREAKBEAT POETS LIVE - A celebratory performance event that highlights the crossover between Chicago’s spoken word and hip-hop communities, featuring a multi-generational mix of poets, rappers, musicians, graffiti artists, and DJs that include Young Chicago Authors core artistic associates alongside other members of the intersecting communities.
