Season of Grief

What season of life are you currently in?
Pre-writing:
As a check-in and grounding exercise: Write down what season of life you’re currently in. If you had to give this moment in your life a title, what would it be? Who and what are present? How do things look like? How are you feeling? Is there a moment in your life where you felt similarly or vastly different to how you feel now? How are things different or the same?

Prompt:
Write a “season” poem. The season doesn’t need to be nature related. You can write about a season of immense joy, or maybe your early 20s were a season for you, or maybe there was someone in your life who was there for a season and now is not. Be liberal with your definition of season. Ruminate on what that word means to you and then write a poem with as much grounded, and specific imagery as possible.
