Registration is now LIVE for 2020 Write to the City Virtual Week-long Writing Intensive Camp, July 13 - 17! Write to the City is normally a fee based program; however, this year we are offering the camp for free on a first-come, first-served bases. *Priority registration is given to Chicago Residents, CPS Students + Teachers, 2020 high school graduates, LTAB Team + Indy Finalists. YCA offers weekly writing workshops in poetry (Check the Method) and hip-hop/rap (Emcee Wreckshop), plus the longest-running youth open mic in Chicago (WordPlay), a journalism intensive (Chicago Beat), and a monthly LGBTQ salon (Queeriosity), all at our offices at 1180 N. Milwaukee Avenue #2 in Wicker Park.
